Slide Library
Cytyc has compiled sets of ThinPrep Pap Test cases and put them into boxes of 20 slides each. Each set contains an array of diagnostic entities as seen in gynecologic cytology. These slides are not labeled with the diagnosis, but rather are accompanied by an answer key.

How do I utilize a Slide Library?
Since these slides are not labeled with the diagnosis, they are most often used as "unknown" cases and utilized in the training of additional cytotechnologists and pathologists in the laboratory. They can also be used in a proficiency testing scenario or as a continuing education presentation.

How can I get a Slide Library?
Slide Libraries can only be sent to facilities that have completed Cytyc's ThinPrep Pap Test Customer Training Program. If you have completed the ThinPrep Pap Test Customer Training Program, you may obtain a Slide Library by filling out our Slide Library Request Form and submit it to us via email. We will attempt to send a set out to you within 48 hours of the receipt of your request. Slide Libraries are to be used on a "LOAN" basis and should be returned within the 2 week time period.
